St. Pancras Station Christmas Tree – London, U.K.

The Golden Christmas Tree in London’s St. Pancras Station stands to celebrate a great year for Great Britain, honoring both Olympic success and the Diamond Jubilee. At 14 meters tall, it is now the tallest Christmas tree to stand within the UK’s favorite railway station, towering over last year’s popular LEGO tree by 2 meters. The tree contains 36 golden medals, each measuring over 30cm in diameter. It is lit with 1600 fairy lights.
