Londoner Buses RM1583 (583CLT) – route A – Waterloo Station

2022 saw the launch of Londoner Buses route A between Waterloo Station and Piccadilly Circus via Parliament Square and Trafalgar Square, aimed at tourists.

The main buses used are Dart-engined Routemasters previously used on TfL heritage routes 9 and 15 (since withdrawn). However, RM1583, with its original beautiful-sounding AEC engine, has made special appearances.

RM1583 is a Park Royal-bodied AEC Routemaster new to London Transport in 1963.
