I haven’t been back to London since we moved away in 2015 and have not been in a hurry to return. We didn’t part on good terms, to say the least.
We were back to accompany family from abroad on hols, so I made the most of it and put my camera to work. Turns out, visiting London is certainly better than living there, especially when you know your way around. These images are the result of a few days and nights before onward travel.
I have a hatred for Westminster and the current Tory government, but I tried to set those feelings aside and enjoy the fact that the Elizabeth Tower is now nearly free from the scaffolding that’s been covering it for the last 4-5 years. It looks braw and I’m grateful for the timing.
